# Get Started with Wanta

Start with one small task whose result you can check, such as summarizing information from a connected work app.

## Prepare your task

1. [Open the Wanta home page](https://wanta.ai/en/) and use the download option for your device.
2. Check the [Apps catalog](https://wanta.ai/en/apps/) for the services your task needs. An app listing does not mean every operation offered by its provider is available.
3. Connect the required account in Wanta, or ask your team administrator for access to an existing connection. Available operations depend on the account and team permissions.
4. Describe the source, the work to do, and the output you want. Start with a read-only task before asking for changes to external data.
5. Check the result against its source. Confirm the destination and content before authorizing writes or sharing.

## Make recurring work reusable

[Skills](https://wanta.ai/en/skills/) describe repeatable methods. Read a Skill’s instructions and prerequisites before using it. Each detail page includes its package version and installation command; these commands use `oo-cli` and are not shell commands to paste into a chat without checking their purpose.

If a connection or action is unavailable, [contact support](https://wanta.ai/en/support/) with the app name, the task you were trying to complete, and the error message. Do not include API keys or tokens.
